"Seals on Egg Rock"

Harbor seals warm themselves in the sun, oblivious to the splashing and crashing surf. I'm always amazed at how they manage to get from the water to the rocks with only flippers to help. This particular view is at Egg Rock, the site of the lighthouse in Frenchman's Bay. There are 9 seals, total, one behind the splash. I took the photo from one of the Bar Harbor nature cruises (my dad's a naturalist).
