"Little Long Pond Reflections" (sold)

Seal Harbor, Maine

Painting by Beth Whitney showing Little Long Pond reflections and pink waterlilies floating on the surface. | DowneastWatercolors.com

"Little Long Pond Reflections" is an original watercolor painting by Beth Whitney.

This view of Little Long Pond in Seal Harbor captures the reflections in the water, interrupted by pretty pink waterlilies. This is the most peaceful, wonderful place and I never tire of painting it. Of course, I'm running out of angles and titles! It's amazing how the view changes if you move to the left or right by 10 feet.

I used to walk around the pond after work as fast as I could so I could make it home in time to watch Jeff Corwin having an exciting adventure with a snake (on TV). I could do it in about an hour if no one was watching me run up the hills.

While this painting has sold, Little Long Pond View shows a panoramic view that includes the boathouse.
