"Bass Harbor Light, Right"

Mount Desert Island, Maine

"Bass Harbor Light, RIght View," an original watercolor painting by Beth Whitney | DowneastWatercolors.com

"Bass Harbor Light, Right View" shows Maine's famous lighthouse from the more familiar right perspective, as seen from a boat.

Bass Harbor is a beautiful village located on the Quiet side of Mount Desert, far from the maddening crowds of Bar Harbor. It's a beautiful area to explore or sail. I painted this in tandem with "Bass Harbor Light, Left View," so the waterline and colors all coordinate perfectly.

8x10" and 11x14" matted open edition giclee prints are also available of this painting in my Etsy shop.

You can see more original paintings of lighthouses in my Lighthouse Paintings Gallery.
