"Duck Brook Bridge"

Bar Harbor, Maine

Painting of Duck Brook Bridge in Acadia National Park by Beth Whitney | DowneastWatercolors.com

"Duck Brook Bridge," original Maine watercolor painting by Beth Whitney

The Duck Brook carriage bridge is one of the beautiful granite bridges built by John D. Rockefeller throughout Acadia National Park. There are two carriage bridges that span Duck Brook, and this is the one visible from Route 3 (aka Eden Street or the Bar Harbor Road).

I love how the vibrant Fall foliage contrasts with the granite bridge.

This original watercolor painting includes a classic double white archival mat and backing board in a crystal clear protective closure sleeve. It's ready to slip into a standard 12x16" frame (not included).
